This image was initially rejected, but I am always up for a challenge. The image was highly blemished during a flood and much of the original emulsion had cracked and moved.
Because there was very little detail to clone/stamp from, I decided airbrushed the areas badly affected by water damage. Photographic grain was added to the airbrushed areas afterwards to provide a natural effect.
It took 2 hours to restore this image to its former glory. The client was very happy with the results.
