Welcome

This sample page was created using CSS. CSS or Cascading style sheets where developed by W3 to increase formatting ability in HTML.

CSS helps not only to reduce repetitive code and keep design consistent and search engine friendly, but they also help to reduce page file size and download overhead.

Using CSS

Controlling page design

Using CSS (Cascading Style sheets), as opposed to standard HTML, will reduce the amount of code through which a search engine bot will need read. Emphasis can then be directed to the most important part of any page - the written content.

The other advantage to using CSS over other coding techniques is site-wide design consistency. All pages link to an external CSS file which is used to format fonts, tables (if any), colours, images and just about any other element of web design. This means that when a certain design aspect needs adjusting, a full page to page revamp isn't in order. All atheistic are kept within one file.
