The Healing Brush Tool

The Healing Brush works in a similar way to the Clone Stamp tool. It allows you to copy image information from one place into another. The main difference however, is that the Healing Brush will blend and compensate colour differences, whilst retaining texture. It is an especially effective tool when repairing large area of flat colour, i.e. sky, water, lawns, etc. Be careful though, it is not a replacement to the Clone Stamp Tool. It should be use wisely as it has a tendency to 'blend' colours and tones when applied to areas of changing shades.
