How do you fancy adding text to a picture then adding another picture so that it appears inside the text only? Well, here’s how to do it:
- Open the picture on which you want to add text.
- Click on the T type tool on the toolbar and add your text to your picture, remember the size of the text is not constrained by the sizes in the size box, you can enlarge the text further merely by inserting the numbers in the size box. When you are satisfied that your text is in order hit the enter button on your keyboard.
- Make sure that your layers pallet is open, (Click F7,) on the pallet you will see your first opened picture with the text layer above.
- Next click on your second picture with the move tool and drag it into your picture with the text on, you will see that it will appear on the layers pallet and will in fact cover the first picture, that’s ok.
- Now, highlight the latest picture on the layers pallet and click Ctrl G, this groups the upper layer with the text layer and now your second picture appears within the text, you can move it around until you are satisfied that it meets your requirements, once you are happy with the result flatten and save the image. Job Done.
