Adobe Photoshop articles: Display The Same Image In Two Windows |
Display The Same Image In Two WindowsBy John Sweeney - 16th of January 2007 Now, why would we want this: Well, you might be working on a zoomed in image and want to see what it looks like on the other image, which, incidentally, is best kept at one size, so you can see all the image. Check how changes you've made to a picture in a zoomed in state look on the non-zoomed picture, as soon as you release your mouse button on the zoomed in image the effect or correction you have made is shown instantly on the other picture. To make it happen, with an open picture select Window, then Arrange, then New Window (the original file name will be the same). The same image will now appear in a new second window. Work away. You may think this will work by merely making a duplicate of the first or open picture, well, it doesn't.
