A Dartmoor Quarry Painting

I'm sure there will be plenty of criticism of the fact this image was based on a collection of photographs rather than a real life study. I wanted to capture the movement of heathers of Dartmoor and to document an astonishing oasis in the heart of this rugged landscape.
